Our Story
Before starting Tenmist, our founder Ben Jackson saw the same thing happen at business after business: 30–40% of after-hours calls went straight to voicemail. Most of those callers never called back — they just called a competitor.
We tried answering services. They were slow to pick up, expensive per minute, and the messages were useless — “someone called about a leak.” No name, no callback time, no urgency level. Just a sticky note in digital form.
We knew AI could do it better. So we built the first version of Tenmist for a single plumbing client.
